Stick #67

Overlord's Suicide

Fair

Poem

Though one may boast unmatched might,

Never presume to stand alone in fight.

Even if you could lift mountains with ease,

Cherish life and soul, for they're hard to seize.

人雖勇力不能當

莫恃英雄獨冠場

可挾泰山超北海

身心猶貴重存亡

Interpretation

Even with great courage and strength, one should never presume to be invincible. Even if capable of performing the most difficult feats—like lifting Mount Tai or leaping the North Sea—one must still value self-preservation. This sign advises maintaining a kind heart and pursuing peace in all matters for good fortune.
